*Crypto trading is available in France, Belgium, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Denmark, Ireland.
You can tranfser crypto out of your Shares account to an external wallet you own. It's not yet possible to receive crypto into your Shares account. Please note:
You can only transfer crypto to a self-hosted wallet that you personally own and control (for example, a Ledger or MetaMask wallet). Transfers to exchange accounts are not currently supported.
Before completing your transfer, we may ask you to send a small test amount (1 EUR) to the destination address, to confirm you own that wallet.
Sending crypto out of your Shares account
To request a crypto transfer out, contact our support team at transfert-crypto@shares.io with the following information:
The crypto-asset and its type/ticker you'd like to transfer (e.g. Bitcoin (BTC))
The amount you'd like to transfer, in that crypto-asset
The public wallet address you'd like to send it to
Receiving crypto into your Shares account
This isn't possible yet — incoming crypto transfers are not currently supported.
