If you forgot your PIN, follow the instructions in this article to reset it. The steps may vary slightly depending upon your verification status.
You have enabled investing
If you have completed the verification process and have a verified account with us, follow the process below to reset your PIN:
Open Shares and tap the “Forgot your PIN” button in the Enter PIN screen.
The app will ask you to provide some of the details you have entered when opening your investing account.
After providing the details, you create a new PIN and confirm it.
Now you can use your new PIN to log in to the Shares app.
You haven’t completed the verification process yet
If you have not completed the verification process, follow the process below to reset your PIN:
Open Shares and tap the “Forgot your PIN” button in the Enter PIN screen.
The app will ask you to confirm the email you signed up with.
We’ll send you an email to initiate PIN reset. Please be sure to check your spam folder in case you are not able to find the email.
Open the email on your phone and tap the Reset PIN button – Shares app will open and allow you to create and confirm your new PIN.
Now you can use your new PIN to log in to the Shares app.
