You can edit your basic information, such as your name, username, picture and bio from your profile. You can access it at any time by clicking on your picture in the top left-hand corner of the Investing screen and choosing “Profile”.
To edit your profile picture:
On your Profile, choose the option “Edit Profile”.
A window will then pop up. Click on your current profile picture.
You can then select a picture from your phone library and crop it to size as you wish.
Once happy, press “Choose” in the bottom right corner and your profile picture will be updated.
To edit your name, username and bio:
On your Profile, choose the option “Edit Profile”.
A pop-up window will appear with three options:
Edit Display Name
Edit Username
Edit Bio
Click on the preferred action to modify your name, username, or bio.
Once it’s done, press “Save”.
We encourage you to use your real name and surname in your social profile. This way it will be easier for other users to find and interact with you.
Note that impersonation (pretending to be someone else) is strictly forbidden. Your account can be locked if you use the name, username, photo of another person and try to act on their behalf on the Shares app.
Shares doesn’t allow the use of any inappropriate images or words in your profile. Please refer to our community guidelines for further information.
