Learn more about Shares' accessibility features

Updated over a week ago

At Shares, we are striving to make our mobile app available to all users. We understand the importance of inclusivity and strive to provide a seamless experience for people with varying accessibility needs.

To that end, here are some suggestions for improving the usability of our mobile app:

Shares’ Mobile App Settings: Theme and Biometric Authentication

App Appearance Theme

To ensure that the app is visually comfortable for your preferences, you can select a Light, Dark, or System theme in the app settings. We have you covered if you prefer a light interface, a dark theme for reduced eye strain in low-light conditions, or want the app to adapt to your device's system theme.

To change the theme, simply access your Profile menu by tapping on your profile photo in the top left corner of the screen and selecting the "Appearance" section

Secure and Convenient Login with Biometric Authentication

Our Shares app supports biometric authentication, adapting to the capabilities of your device, whether it's Face ID or Touch ID, for a secure and hassle-free login experience that prioritises your safety and comfort.

We recommend enabling biometric authentication during your initial login to improve account security. If you haven't already, simply log out and back in to activate the relevant biometric feature on your device, ensuring future logins are both convenient and secure.
