App is loading slowly? You click a button and nothing happens? Or maybe you heard about new functionality but it’s not available in your app?
We make every effort to provide the most stable and reliable application possible. However, sometimes things can go wrong anyway. Fortunately, you can fix most of the issues on your own. Here's the tips for you:
Check if you have a stable internet connection.
Clear app cache.
Please note that it may look slightly different on your device.
Go to the Settings menu, then to Applications. Find Shares app and open the info page. Locate the Clear Data button and tap it. Choose the Clear Cache option.
The other solution, is to use the system's cleaner application and perform scan and cleaning. This affects all applications on your device.
Go to Settings/General/iPhone Storage. Find Shares app, tap it and choose Offload App. You'll see a message that the app will be deleted, but its documents and data will remain. Tap Offload App. Then Install Shares again.
Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed.
Go to Google Play Store app. At the top right corner, click the profile icon. Tap Manage apps & device. Go to Update available, find Shares app and tap Update.
Open the App Store. Click on your profile icon at the top. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Find Shares app and tap Update next to it.
If Shares is not on the list, it means you already have the latest version. After updating, you will be asked to sign in again with your phone number. Simply type in your phone number and log in by using your previous login method.
Reinstall the app.
Hold the Shares app icon for a few seconds and hover over the Uninstall icon at the top of the screen. Confirm on uninstalling the app. Go to the Google Play store app and install Shares app.
Hold the Shares app icon until it starts to wiggle. Tap the “x” in the top left corner of the app icon and then tap Delete. Go to the App Store app and install Shares.
Fully restart your device.
Depending on your operating system and device’s brand and model, the steps may vary, but basically it involves turning your device off and on again. When finished, try to open the app to see if the issue is resolved.
Update your operating system.
Please bear in mind that depending on your Android version it may differ.
Go to Settings menu. If there is an update available, you should see the Update button next to About phone. Tap it. Depending on the OS, you need to choose Install Now, Reboot and install, or Install System Software. When the process is complete your device will require rebooting.
Go to Settings/General/Software Update. If you see two software update options available, choose the one you want to install. Choose Install Now. You may also see Download and Install instead. In this case, choose to download the update, then enter your passcode and tap Install Now.
