To get a bonus after being referred to Shares, please make sure to complete all the steps below:
Step 1. Tap on the link you’ve received from your friend to download the Shares app on your phone (and not on any other device!). Once tapped, you will get redirected to Google Play or App store. Make sure you download the app only through that dedicated link.
Step 2. When the app is installed, go through the sign-up flow. Make sure to get your account verified by completing all the verification checks required in the app. Please note that our referral program is currently only available to our French users.
Step 3. Deposit at least €1 into your Shares account within 7 days of the account being verified.
And voila, you will receive 5 free trades to invest in stocks, ETFs, and crypto (max free crypto order is €250) as a reward for joining our Shares community through your friend’s referral link.

What will I get if I register through the link of my friend?
After completing all the required steps, you will receive 5 free trades to invest in stocks, ETFs, and crypto (max free crypto order is €250). This means that when placing your first 5 trades in our app, you will not pay any trading fees for their execution.
How do I find out how many free trades I have left from the reward?
When you place a buy or sell order, on the Order review screen, there will be a "Free trades" line that shows how many free trades you have left (for example: Free trades: 3/5 , it means that you still have 3 free trades from the referral bonus).
How much time do I have to deposit?
There are 7 days to deposit once your account is verified to be able to receive the bonus.
I’ve downloaded the app not via the link from my friend by mistake. Can I still be counted as an invitee?
If you’ve downloaded the app but haven’t gone through the sign-up process, you can simply uninstall the app and download it again via a link from your friend. If you’ve completed the sign-up already, unfortunately, you won’t benefit from the referral scheme. Downloading the app via the link from your friend is a critical step. This is how we will know that you came from another member of the Shares community.
Why is my free trade in a pending state?
We can only execute your trades when the markets are open, check the market hours in this article: Market hours.
Can I invite friends on my own?
Yes. You will be able to invite your friends to Shares and receive a referral bonus as soon as you deposit funds into your account. You will receive €20 for each friend you refer, up to a maximum of 5 eligible friends. The total amount you can earn for referring friends cannot exceed €100. You will still be able to refer friends once it reaches this point, but you will no longer receive €20 for it.
