What you need to know
Before you initiate the transfer, here are a few key things to keep in mind:
We can only transfer equities (shares and ETFs), crypto assets aren’t supported.
Only full shares can be transferred. If you hold fractional shares, you’ll need to sell them first.
Make sure the shares you want to transfer are available and tradable in the Shares app. You can check this by searching for the assets in our app, or get in touch with our Support team (check out how to contact our Support team in the How can I contact the Shares support? article).
There may be a fee for incoming transfers. If applicable, our team will let you know on a case-by-case basis.
What we need from you
If everything checks out, send the following documents to our team at transfert-titres@shares.io:
A recent account statement from your current broker, showing the list of ISINs being transferred and their positions.
Your tax ID number for verification.
Once we receive the document and your information, our team will review everything and guide you through the next steps once the transfer is underway.
