Everything you need to know about editing an Investment Plan.

* Available in France only.

As a Wealth Manager, you have the ability to suggest updates to approved Investment Plans. Most modifications require client approval before taking effect, with the exception of Plan name changes, which are applied immediately.

For more information on how to cancel, pause or resume a Plan, please refer to the following article: How to cancel, pause or resume a Plan on the Shares Pro platform?

Wealth Managers can initiate changes to the following Plan elements. Please note that these plan modifications are currently available exclusively to clients who have signed a SEPA Direct Debit mandate:

  • One-off investment details

  • Plan name (does not require client approval)

  • Advised management fee

  • Removal of recurring investments

  • Investment amount and frequency

  • Billing date

Important: Only one edit request can be active at a time. You must wait for the current request to be approved or to expire (after 7 days with no client response) before submitting a new one. If another request is already pending, the “Edit Plan” option (three-dot menu) will be greyed out, displaying a message that approval is in progress.

One-Off Investment

One-off investments give clients flexibility to add additional funds outside their recurring investment schedule. These are prioritised over recurring investments.

Step-by-Step:

  1. Select the client and click on the relevant Plan.

  2. Click the “Invest” button.

  3. Enter the one-off investment amount and select the billing date.

  4. Click “Submit for review.” A confirmation pop-up will appear; the Plan will be marked as “Awaiting Approval.”

  5. The client receives an email to review and approve the changes.

  6. Once approved, you will be notified via email.

Editing the Plan Name

This is the only change that does not require client approval.

Steps:

  1. Select the client and the relevant Plan.

  2. Click the three-dot menu → “Edit Plan.”

  3. Update the Plan name and click “Confirm.”

  4. The name is changed immediately. The client receives an email to review the changes.
