An ETF, or Exchange-Traded Fund, is a type of investment fund that trades on stock exchanges in the same way as individual stocks do. It is intended to monitor the performance of a specific index, sector, commodity, or asset class.

ETFs are made up of a collection of underlying assets such as stocks, bonds, or commodities. They allow investors to acquire exposure to a diverse portfolio through a single investment tool. ETFs can be bought and sold at market prices throughout the trading day, giving investors flexibility and liquidity.
