How to edit / cancel my Investment Plan?

To edit / cancel your Investment Plan:

  1. Open the Invest screen (the main screen in the app) and scroll down to the Plans and Orders section. Here you can find all of your active Investment Plans.

  2. Tap on the selected Plan to display its details.

  3. In the top-right corner you can find the three dots icon - tap on it to display the manage options: to edit or cancel your Plan.

Editing your Plan

You can edit your existing Investment Plan in the following ways:

  • change the name and emoji of the Plan,

  • change the total invested amount,

  • add assets to the Plan*,

  • change the allocation*,

  • change the frequency and start date*.

*Keep in mind that in the case of a Managed Plan, you can only edit the name and emoji of the Plan, and the amount you want to invest. It’s not possible to change the allocation, frequency or the start date of a Managed Plan. Learn more about Managed Plans in our article: How do Managed Plans work?

Canceling your Plan:

  • In case of canceling your Managed Plan → if some of the positions in the Managed Plan were already bought, they will be automatically sold when you request canceling the Plan. Once your Managed Plan is canceled, it will no longer continue executing in the future.

  • In case of canceling your Custom Plan → if some of the positions in the Custom Plan were already bought, these assets will remain under your Portfolio, and you can manually sell them, whenever you wish to. Once your Custom Plan is canceled, it will no longer continue executing in the future.

To update the payment method for your Investment Plan:

You need to have Apple Pay or a debit card linked to your Investment Plan, or sufficient funds in your Shares account if you selected your account balance to execute the Plan.

If you unlink the payment method used for an active Investment Plan, it will not execute. In such a case, you can update your payment method by opening the Plans and Orders section on the Invest screen, tapping on Plans and selecting the “Review payment method” button.

In any case when you want to update or change the payment method for your Investment Plan, go to the Invest screen and tap on the Plan to open its details. On the "Payment method" field, tap the dropdown and select the new payment method you want to use.
