You can start referring friends as soon as you have verified your identity and made a deposit into your Shares account.
Follow these steps to send the referral link to your friends:
Step 1. Open your Profile.
Step 2. From the Profile menu, tap "Earn €20" and copy your referral link.
Step 3. Wait for your friend to sign up, get verified and make a deposit. Keep in mind that your friend must deposit within 7 of their identity verification for you both to get rewarded. How much do I get for successfully referring a friend?
We’ll fund your account with €20 after your friend completed all the required steps.
What will my friend get if they register through my link?
After completing their first deposit within 7 days of the identity verification, they will receive 5 free trades to invest in stocks, ETFs, and crypto (max free crypto order is €250). This means that when placing their first 5 trades in our app, they will not pay any trading fees for their execution.
When will I see my bonus on the account?
We will automatically add €20 to your balance within less than 24 hours from your referee completing the required steps.
Can I use the referral bonus for investments?
Yes. You can invest your €20 in any available assets on the Shares app of your choice at any time.
Can I withdraw the referral bonus or do I have to invest it?
You can withdraw your referral cash bonus 30 days after it’s credited to your account. In the meantime, the money will remain in your Shares account and is available for you to invest.
Why don’t I see an option to refer a friend?
You can only refer your friends when you have finished the onboarding process. This involves having a verified account (passing all verification procedures) and making at least one successful deposit into your Shares account.
If you’ve completed all the steps and still don’t see the "Earn €20" button in your Profile menu, contact our in-app chat support team and we will help you out.
Can I invite friends from outside of France to get a referral bonus?
No. The referral program is currently only available to our French users.
How many friends can I invite?
You can earn a maximum of €100, for the first five successfully referred friends. Once that amount is reached, you can still invite friends, but you will no longer be eligible for the €20 bonus.
Can I see the list of people I’ve referred to Shares?
Yes. Tap on the "Earn €20" button in your Profile menu to get to the referral program, then tap on the “My invitees” button at the top right corner. This will show you all the people who have already signed up to Shares via your link, as well as their status i.e. whether they have successfully onboarded to Shares.
Why don't I see my friend on the list of my invitees?
There can be multiple reasons:
Your friend received the referral link but hasn’t signed up to Shares yet.
Your friend has created an account in Shares, but not by following your link. It’s critical that your invitee taps on your link while being on a mobile phone and downloads the app straight away.
Your friend has not made a deposit within 7 days from their identity verification.
If you believe that your friend has completed all the necessary steps, contact our support team and we will investigate the case.
